EPGC Campaign: “Seed Starter Kits” 🌱

Eden’s Pavillion Garden Club | ”Healing The Earth, One Garden At A Time!” with Nancey S. Kolb, PICoach.

Get started now! Consider putting in a garden this spring and sprouting your favorite seeds indoors. Here’s how we’d like to help: Eden’s Pavillion Garden Club is offering “Starter Kits” to help people starting their gardens now, especially if you are new to gardening. Our starter kits are $5 for each carton that includes everything it takes to get your seeds started through the germination process. We will help navigate our gardeners to the next step once the seed are fully germinated. Stay tuned!

As you decide which seeds to grow, look on YouTube for videos on how to grow the specific variety of plants you want to grow. Gather the tools and materials you may need and get your seeds germinating. In the mean time you will want to prepare the garden space you have with plant soil.

It is a delight to see those little plants grow! 🌱🌿🌾

In the photos here you can see what our “Starter Kits” looks like and what comes with it. The kit includes the plastic starter box, clear cover and a gray base. On the base is an 18 count egg carton with the egg carton lid removed. It is then filled with coconut coir seed starting mix. We don’t advise using potting soil, as that would be more than the seeds need for germination. Too much organic matter in higher humidity could cause unwanted circumstances. We use Burpee’s organic “seedling starter mix,” which is sold at Home Depot & other gardening supplies. We have a variety of seeds if you would rather go with something we have on hand (add .50 cents, inquire about what seeds we have available in your request using the form below). And three seed tags are included to note the type of plant seed and date of seed sowing.
